About the author: “I write but sometimes I think I’m better at talking about it than doing it. All talk yet not enough words. On the page, at least. I am a freelance journalist although there is a reason they put “free” there. I live in East Africa, I come from the West of Ireland and my family is my Centre. I have two blonde daughters full of guile and giggles and they are already smarter and slicker than me.”
